Compassion Circle

The Compassion Circle was formed in December 2006 by vibrant women with a passion for helping those in need.  Our Circle members are comprised of single and married women with newborn children through High Schoolers. We devote ourselves to exploring ways we can become more complete Christian women through charity work, fellowship, community service and world outreach. Our members support, encourage and share with each other, learning and growing as we do. Laughter is mandatory, tears infrequent, and the peace of growing in and serving the Lord is a wonderful outcome of each meeting.
 
Mission projects have included projects within the church such as, restocking the church pantry, baking/helping with the church BarBQ and helping Reid with church families in need.  We sponsor/plan the Mountain Marketplace and most of the proceeds go to the preachers Discretionary Fund.  We have had Bunko, Craft nights and have a Book Club that meets once a month.

We also are active in fund raisers and collecting donations for various charities and organizations in Birmingham; including the Church of the Reconciler, Hydrocephalus Walk, Pack a Purse for ladies coming out of prison.
